About TDST
Since 1991, TDST has been maintaining the air conditioning and heating systems of public and private institutions across Quebec, in compliance with current standards.
Our story
Sylvain Tremblay founded TDST in 1991 in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, the same year his son Yannik was born. At first, the company installed residential water treatment systems. Then the industrial contracts came, bigger and more demanding, and the company’s focus shifted.
In 2011, with his stationary engineering diploma in hand, Yannik moved to Montreal to start his professional career. That same year, he began prospecting industrial clients in the Greater Montreal area. Word of mouth quickly did the rest: renewed contracts and lasting relationships. Whether he’s working as an employee, a boss or a subcontractor, the quality of his service stays exactly the same.
In January 2024, Sylvain passed the torch to Yannik. That same year, Yannik became a father himself, the same symmetry as at his own birth. “Already a recruit for the future,” he says. Sylvain is never far away, and his experience remains at the heart of the company.

We carry out the work, then follow up regularly to make sure the solution holds over time. Calls go straight to Yannik’s cell phone.
Certifications and licences
RBQ licence no. 5837-9751-01.
Our team holds a range of competency cards and training certificates:
- Yannik : MMF Class 2; training in confined space entry, lockout/tagout, work at heights, aerial work platforms and workplace first aid; twenty years in building mechanics.
- Sylvain : MMF Class 1A, certified drinking water specialist; cards in energy production, refrigeration equipment and gas appliances; qualified pipefitter-plumber in heating.

We serve all of Quebec
We work anywhere in Quebec from our Terrebonne office. Our presence is strongest in Saguenay and Greater Montreal. We also travel to Gatineau and Ottawa, where travel fees apply. One office, but the whole province covered.
